The LAST WAKY-WKLO Reunion

We didn't think we'd do one of these again -- but here we go!

The [GONG] LAST WAKY-WKLO Reunion (think Jack McCoy's famous KCBQ "Last Contest") is scheduled for the evening of Friday, June 22, 2012 at John E's Restaurant & Lounge in Louisville.

This reunion will be a PRIVATE indoor affair, similar to the first WAKY-WKLO reunion -- with former WAKY-WKLO employees and their guests, along with a few special friends. There will be a reasonable cover charge for decent food, plus an open bar.

This is not officially affiliated with the current 103-5 WAKY, although WAKY-FM owner Bill Walters has helped us find the location.

However -- the next day (Saturday June 23rd) -- WAKY-FM will be sponsoring a rock-and-roll event at the Louisville Zoo featuring several classic Derby City bands, and free admission will be provided for all former WAKY-WKLO employees and their plus-ones.
